Frozen Dead Guy Days starts Friday

NEDERLAND — The wild and wacky celebration of all things frozen is coming this weekend, March 2-4, with the 11th Frozen Dead Guy Days Festival.

The Nederland event includes three days of activities such as the Polar Plunge ice-water swim, the Parade of Hearses and Coffin Races, along with free live music from local bands.

Butterfly Effect Promotions owner Amanda MacDonald bought the rights to the event recently from the Nederland Chamber of Commerce for an undisclosed sum.
