Geisty’s restaurant to open on The Hill

BOULDER – Geisty’s Dogg House restaurant and bar is scheduled to open on The Hill near the University of Colorado Boulder campus in early February.

Geisty’s will feature gourmet sausages, sliders, chicken wings and a full bar, said Mark Geist, owner of the establishment. Workers are putting the finishing touches on the spot at 1116 13th St. on The Hill, where Sushi Spot formerly was located.

“We think The Hill is just a fabulous location,” Geist said.

University students are the target audience for the restaurant and bar. It’s located near Abo’s Pizza on The Hill, a longtime eating establishment, and is virtually across the street from the Fox Theater.
