CSU address to be solar-powered

FORT COLLINS – Colorado State University President Larry Penley will give his Fall Address on Sept. 11 from a solar-powered stage.

The address will begin at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Administration Building on the south side of the Oval. Penley will discuss the vision for CSU during the next five years and will highlight the year’s record research expenditures and establishment of the School of Global Environmental Sustainability.

Following the address, an all-university picnic will be held, featuring compostable and biodegradable utensils. For more information, call 970-491-4601.
