BBVA Compass Bank to open second Fort Collins location

FORT COLLINS – BBVA Compass Bank will open a second Fort
Collins location near the intersection of Corbett and Harmony roads in
mid-December or early January, according to Lacy Mezger, a spokesperson from
the company.

Construction on the new building began earlier this
summer, and the branch will be staffed with 10 to 12 local banking experts.
Compass Bank is primarily a retail bank, and the location will offer a full
range of services.

Nationwide, Compass Bank has more than 712 branches, the
majority of which are in Texas. The Alabama-based bank operates 36 Colorado
locations, including one at 3131 S. College Ave.

Boulder and Denver are other Colorado cities that are
home to Compass Bank branches.

BBVA Compass Bank is a subsidiary of BBVA Compass
Bancshares Inc., a financial services group with approximately $800 billion in
