Corn Roast volunteers needed for this weekend

LOVELAND – Volunteers to assist with this year’s annual Corn Roast
Festival in Loveland are in critically short supply for the event, set
for this weekend, Aug. 26-27.

Brian Willms, president and CEO of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and
Visitors Center, said volunteers are most needed for Saturday, Aug. 27.

Willms said the largest areas of concern are for corn cooking, corn
sales and working the information booth on Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m.

Volunteers are also needed for corn shucking on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
and to help with the parade. Other volunteer opportunities include
helping with traffic control on Saturday morning and staffing the
chamber booth.
