Call for entries for the Fort Collins Urban Design Awards

FORT COLLINS – The city of Fort Collins is promoting awareness of the
importance of urban design, and its role in maintaining and enhancing
the quality of life in the community with the third biennial Urban
Design Awards.

The awards will be presented on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the new
Midtown Arts Center. The deadline to enter projects for consideration is
the end of business Aug. 18.

Entry criteria for projects include:

  • Within city limits;

  • Completed anytime within five years of the current award year (based on Certificate of Occupancy);

  • Best illustrates the qualities of one or more of the award categories; may enter in multiple categories;

  • Available for site inspection, if requested by the jury;

  • Not a previous winner.
