Weitkunat elected to CML Executive Board
FORT COLLINS – Fort Collins Mayor Karen Weitkunat was elected to serve a
two-year term on the Colorado Municipal League Executive Board
following elections last week at the CML Annual Conference.
“Colorado Municipal League is the voice of Colorado’s cities and towns,”
Weitkunat said. “I’m honored to be elected to help guide that voice. I
look forward to working with other municipalities to identify and
advocate for solutions for a more prosperous and sustainable Colorado.”
The CML Executive Board consists of 19 municipal elected and appointed
officials, who determine league policy on issues, and is responsible for
overall operation of the CML. Weitkunat will serve as one of four board
members representing municipalities of 80,000 residents or more.
