Trada Inc. partners with Yahoo!, Bing

BOULDER –  Trada Inc., a fast-growing Boulder startup that focuses on pay-per-click marketing, announced last week it has formed a partnership with the Yahoo! and Microsoft Search Alliance to become a reseller of paid advertising on the Yahoo! Search and Microsoft Bing search engines.

The Search Alliance is a partnership between Microsoft and Yahoo! that combines elements of the companies’ search and advertising platforms and competes with Google.

Trada helps advertisers create campaigns by using teams of pay-per-click advertising experts to create keywords and advertising material.

The partnership will help Trada clients, who are primarily small- to medium-sized businesses, run better Internet advertising campaigns, Trada CEO and founder Niel Robertson said in a media release.

“Trada has seen immense value for our advertisers running campaigns on Bing and Yahoo! Search, who have seen conversion rates significantly higher than the industry average,” Robertson said.

Trada advertisers on the Search Alliance can see a 7 to 8 percent conversion rate, which is significantly higher than the industry average, according to data provided by Trada. About 94 percent of Trada advertisers already advertise on Bing and Yahoo!

The partnership gives Trada ties with the three companies that dominate Internet search. Google Venture is an investor in Trada.
