New Sky, Mines partner on research

BOULDER – New Sky Energy Inc. in Boulder and the Colorado School of Mines in Golden will work together to build an operating model of New Sky’s electro-chemical and carbon capture technology.

New Sky’s process can scrub carbon dioxide from the air, polluted water, waste salts from mining operations or flues of coal-powered utility plants. Out put can include carbon-neutral or carbon-negative chemicals, each an ingredient of a manufactured good such as glass, plastic or building materials.
