Gaiter named new Larimer County Commissioner
FORT COLLINS – The Larimer County Republican Party on Thursday chose Lew Gaiter III to fill the seat on the Board of Commissioners vacated by Kathay Rennels.
It took four ballots to select Gaiter, an IT professional and owner of Gaiter Enterprises LLC, over seven other candidates. About 250 central committee members participated in the process.
Rennels resigned in December, with a year left in her third term, to become director of economic development for Colorado State University.
