Water Valley secures financing for Perkins at Crossroads Blvd.

WINDSOR – Water Valley Land Co. President Martin Lind announced Oct. 14 that financing has been secured to build a new Perkins Restaurant and Bakery at the northwest corner of Crossroads Boulevard and Clydesdale Parkway in east Loveland.

Lind said the restaurant will be the fifth Perkins location in Northern Colorado and the second tenant in the 80-acre Eagle Crossing development adjacent to the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center . Construction on the restaurant near The Ranch fairgrounds complex is expected to begin in the next 30 days and be complete in May 2010.

“The restaurant will be 6,000 square feet in a new 10,000-square-foot building,” Lind said. “Approximately 4,000 square feet is designed to hold other tenants. We are extremely pleased to welcome Perkins to our Eagle Crossing project and know it will be a home run for everyone involved.”

Lind said the restaurant will provide about 100 new jobs. The new Perkins is the fifth for local owners Eric Spanier and Leon Klemisch. Their company, Northern Colorado Pancake LLC, has Perkins franchises in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Longmont.

Dohn Construction in Fort Collins has been awarded the bid for construction, Vaught-Frye-Ripley Architects are architects for the project and TST Engineering is handling the civil engineering. Ryan Bach, Eagle Rock Realty, was the listing agent. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
