GE Energy completes Longmont move

LONGMONT – Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, fresh from the grand opening of the Abound Solar Inc. facility in southwestern Weld County, today heralded the arrival in Longmont of GE Energy’s Control Solutions’ global headquarters.

The GE Energy operation relocated from Loveland to 1800 Nelson Road, bringing 180 employees, with room to add more as the need arises.

Ritter said that both Abound and GE Energy are key players as the state continues to build a “New Energy Economy.”
