Rocky Mounts sued by competitor
BOULDER – Rocky Mounts Inc., a Boulder-based vehicle bike rack manufacturer, is being sued by one of its competitors for an alleged patent violation.
The company, located at 2055 26th St., is one of four companies being sued by Beaverton, Ore.-based Yakima Products Inc. in a suit filed Nov. 13.
Yakima alleges that Rocky Mounts, as well as Los Angeles-based Hollywood Racks, Madison, Wis.-based Saris Cycling Group and Torrance, Calif.-based Car Mate, USA Inc., owner of Inno racks, violated Yakima patents.
