Agland reports record sales

EATON – Agland Inc. announced the company’s business grew by 12.5 percent during the fiscal year that ended June 30 and was a record year for the Eaton-based company.

Agland had gross sales of $186,570,000 and net savings of $10,010,331 — an increase of $4.5 million over the previous year, the company said in a press statement. Agland returned $4,551,248 to its local members with $1,820,499 in cash and $2,730,749 in retained earnings.

Mitch Anderson, Agland CEO and general manager, said Agland’s success was due to diversification in the company’s business core and well-timed asset growth in the local community.
