Fresh Produce founder starts fashion line

BOULDER – Mary Ellen Vernon, founder of Boulder-based Fresh Produce Sportswear, has launched a new line of clothing for women.

The ME Collection, a sub-brand of Fresh Produce, consists of 10 original pieces designed by Vernon, including dresses, skirts, top and bottoms using many of the vibrant colors used in Fresh Produces signature line of apparel.

The cornerstone pieces of the new collection are five simple and versatile dresses. They include the Hey Margaret! Sundress with elegant lines, the loosely fitted Divine Sundress, The Mary Ellen Signature Embroidered dress and skirts, plus three simple tops that can be mixed and matched.
