Sabroso Mexican Grill opens
LONGMONT – Sabroso Mexican Grill, a restaurant serving northern New Mexican cuisine with a contemporary flair, has opened at 1225 Ken Pratt Blvd., Suite 101 in Longmont.
The restaurant uses biodegradable to-go cups and boxes from Eco Products Inc. in Boulder, among other earth-friendly products. Additionally, the restaurant focuses on healthy rather than fattening options.
“We use no lard or MSG. We don’t use refried beans unless that’s a request, and we use natural and organic ingredients whenever possible,´ said Dave Stoecker, general manager.

Sabroso is owned by Greg and Patti Benson, who also own Burrito Kitchens in Longmont. Sabroso follows the Burrito Kitchens concept by offering a burrito bar, in addition to sit-down dining.
There will be a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 27, followed by a grand opening from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 28. Live entertainment will be provided, and food will be 50 percent off.
Sabroso’s hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and closed Sunday. For more information, call 303-702-9800.
