Bioscience fund bill signed

DENVER — Gov. Bill Ritter on April 24 signed a measure that will provide $26.5 million to speed the movement of bioscience research from state laboratories, such as those at Colorado State University, to the marketplace.

Shares of the money provided in House Bill 1001, sponsored by Colorado Rep. Jim Riesberg, D-Weld County, and Sen. Bob Bacon, D-Larimer County, will benefit researchers at CSU among others.
