A Business Minute with Daryl Mercer, owner, Tebo Coin Company

BOULDER – For 40 years the Tebo Coin Company has been in Boulder, and for the past 30 Daryl Mercer has been the owner.

Today the store buzzes with a steady stream of customers, keeping Mercer and three full-time employees busy.

Tebo has a wide selection of coins – ranging from ancient Greek and Roman coins to 2008 state quarters – that the company buys from and sells to collectors. Other inventory items include estate jewelry, diamonds and other gemstones.

The business also specializes in precious metals, including gold, silver and platinum.
