Aurora Dairy vows to fight class-action lawsuits
BOULDER – Aurora Organic Dairy, a provider of private-label organic milk and butter, said it will defend itself “vigorously” against claims brought in class action suits filed in St. Louis and Denver.
The lawsuits were filed Oct. 16 and 17 on behalf of organic food consumers in 27 states charging Aurora with allegations of consumer fraud, negligence and unjust enrichment, according to a press release from the Cornucopia Institute, a Wisconsin-based farm policy research group.
