Wi-FRII: Changing how NoCo communicates

FORT COLLINS – FRII wants to connect Northern Colorado by disconnecting its computers.

The Fort Collins-based communications company is preparing to launch FRII Wireless, an Internet system that will cover entire geographic areas of the region. FRII will start its rollout with a pilot program in downtown Fort Collins. The goal, according to FRII officials, would be to have continuous, reliable wireless access from Fort Collins to Berthoud and east to Greeley.
