Big Bang Catering expands to greener pastures

Lyle Davis, co-founder Alfalfa’s Market, and John Howlett, his newest business partner, are expanding Big Bang Catering to incorporate a full floral service just in time for bridal season.

In the past, Big Bang provided a floral service as an accompaniment to its own catering. It will now begin offering full-floral services for events that are catered by other companies, Davis said. But unlike other companies in the area, Big Bang purchases produce and cut flowers from Pastures of Plenty – Davis’ 35-acre farm located about 10 miles north of Boulder in unincorporated Boulder County.
