Guild’s green product fair to feature area companies

BOULDER –  The Boulder Green Building Guild ‘s 2007 BGBG Product Service Fair will exhibit green products from companies around the area.

The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 8, between 13th and 14th streets on Pearl Street in Boulder.

Kim Master, executive director of the guild, hopes the product fair turns into an annual event. “We’re hoping that we can do this every year,” Master said. “This is a great chance for these types of companies to get exposure and show what kind of products they offer.”

There will be approximately 30 trade booth areas allotted to guild members, and each will cost $175. The guild has an application process for the spots so there will be a variety of different companies and green products. “We want to try to keep this diverse,” Master said.

Among the companies already signed up are Red Pepper Kitchen and Bath and Go Tankless, an electric, water-heating company. Masters said 10 companies have signed up for trade booths.

Along with the booths, the guild will be offering 30-minute speaking slots to its members. The exposure will cost $75, but it will be free for public to listen.

The speakers will go on throughout the day.

The guild will be providing a band to entertain while people peruse the exhibits.
