As a naturopathic physician, people often ask me what I do. The term is well known, yet many informed people could not describe what distinguishes naturopathic medicine from homeopathy or herbal medicine.

While conventional doctors usually just treat symptoms, naturopathic physicians treat the whole person and work to get to the root cause of any symptom.
