Draper chosen to direct Boulder Economic Council

BOULDER – Frances Draper, a veteran banker and marketer, has been hired to head the Boulder Economic Council.

Draper has extensive experience in marketing, finance and operations. After 14 years in banking in Denver as a senior executive, where she was also on the board of the Downtown Denver Partnership, Draper joined Boulder-based GE Access (now Access Distribution in Westminster) as a vice president first in financing and later in marketing/relationship management.

Draper, 50, said after 25 years working in “corporate America” she gave herself a “sabbatical” to think about how to combine her business background with something more community oriented.…
