John Reid takes reins at Bas Bleu

FORT COLLINS – Bas Bleu Theatre Co. will trade one Reid for another.

Executive director Robert Reid announced his resignation after about two years in the position. He cited his desire to pursue his acting career as one of the reasons for his resignation.

The board subsequently named John Reid as the new executive director – the two are not related.

The announcement comes on the heels of the kickoff of the public phase of the theater’s capital campaign. Bas Bleu moved into the former Giddings Machine building at 401 Pine St. in Fort Collins in 2004. At the time, the theater announced…
