Cost savings, environment reasons ink cartridge refill business growing

BOULDER – Bill Adkins and Don Anderson see great growth potential for Cartridge World, their new printer cartridge refill franchise located in the Meadows Shopping Center.

The Boulder store opened in June, and response has been so positive that the pair plans to open another store in Longmont or Broomfield within the next few months. Adkins and Anderson say more stores will follow until they reach a saturation point.

According to Adkins, the appeal of refilling cartridges is that it saves money, and it’s good for the environment. Their store’s refilled cartridges also cost 40 to 50 percent less than…
