Intrado lends technology, employees to support missing children program
As a crowd of 1,500 celebrated Intrado?s 25th anniversary recently with a huge company picnic and fireworks show that had Longmont residents wondering if July 4th had arrived early, some Intrado employees worked getting parents to sign up for the KidCare ID Program, run by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Volunteers from the company?s Caring About People, or CAP, committee manned the booth, allowing parents to create an ID booklet with vital information about their child, including a current photo, to be given to police immediately if a child suddenly is missing.
