Auto locator/buying service offering money to nonprofits

BOULDER — Hoping to combine a sense of altruism with a different business approach, Larry Abrams is ready to hand out $1 million worth of checks to nonprofit organizations that will be attending an event April 23 hosted by The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County.

And the president of Boulder-based CarFind USA figured it was a pretty good business concept, and a pretty good bet.

?The checks are going to all be signed, they could be cashed immediately,? Abrams said. But instead of cashing them right away, Abrams hopes the recipients will instead wait until they’ve brought clients to his car locator/dealership…
