Land swap planned in north Larimer County
LIVERMORE — The State Board of Land plans to swap 485 acres of state trust land near Livermore for 412 acres of private land. The exchange between the board and the landowner will provide both with more contiguous parcels in an area southeast of Red Feather Lakes Road near Hewlett Gulch Road. The landowner paid the board $56,000 for the 73-acre size difference in the two parcels.
Larry Routten, Front Range district manager for the land board, said the cash difference will go into a fund that the Land Board can use for future purchases.
