Spearman sells KHPN, KEZZ; keeps KFKA

GREELEY — MK Inc. plans to sell two of its three Northern Colorado radio stations in the near future. Already, KEZZ 1470 AM in Estes Park and KHPN 1570 AM in Loveland are operating under new lease-management agreements until the sales go through.

“I’m very excited,” MK Owner Monte Spearman said. “I’ve spent the last two years spread real thin. This will allow me to get more control.”

MK plans to keep KFKA 1310 AM in Greeley, but intensify its news, sports, agriculture and talk format, he said.
