BPW launches chapter in Northern Colorado

Business women in Northern Colorado have formed a local chapter of the Colorado Federation of Business and Professional Women.

The Northern Colorado BPW chapter plans to offer networking, professional-development programs and legislative updates.

Louise Creager, who operates a home-based business selling health and wellness products, serves as the chapter’s new president. She said the chapter will address many issues facing women in business.

“I’ve been told directly by men in different jobs that I wouldn’t get ahead because I was a woman,” Creager said. “I had a man tell me he wouldn’t work with me because women didn’t do well in that field.”
