Lochbuie Elementary breaks ground

Greeley’s Rhoads Construction Co. and Weld Re-3J School District broke ground in December on the new Lochbuie Elementary School. The new school is Rhoads’ second for the district in four months. Rhoads was the successful bidder on two new 56,800-square-foot schools, the Lochbuie Elementary at Lochbuie and Hoff Elementary at Keenesburg. The schools, designed by Carter Burgess, are duplicates of each other. The Keenesburg School construction is scheduled for completion midsummer.
