ESA sells to Minnesota engineering firm

FORT COLLINS — ESA Consultants Inc., a water-resources engineering firm with offices in Fort Collins and Boulder, was purchased by Minnesota’s largest engineering consulting company, Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc.

ESA’s Colorado and Wyoming clients include municipalities, water districts and irrigation cooperatives. The company has 18 employees in Fort Collins, Boulder and Bozeman, Mont. Short Elliot Hendrickson has 600 employees and posted $60 million in 1999 revenue.
