Law barring spam e-mail too broad to be effective

We’re all sick of spam. No, not the meat, the e-mail. Every day I get scores of garbage messages in my inbox. Admittedly, I can delete them fairly quickly; nonetheless, they’re very irritating. Of course, I’m not alone. Spam seems to be the thing all Internet users love to hate.

What particularly annoys me are the spam messages that repeat over and over. I’ll get a batch of messages, maybe five or six of them, with headings like “My XXX Secret can be yours,” all at the same time. Unfortunately, I’ve used so many different e-mail addresses in my business, for…
