University expands online offerings
LARAMIE — The University of Wyoming is planning to expand its already extensive distance-learning program this spring to begin offering a completely online degree program — a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Students now will be able to earn both their undergraduate and graduate business degrees without ever setting foot on campus, because the university already offers an MBA via compressed video classes.
The new online program is a partnership between UW, Wyoming community colleges and eCollege.com, a company that specializes in building online courses for colleges and universities. eCollege.com also is developing an online real estate certification program for Wyoming.
