Crispin Porter + Bogusky adds managing director at Boulder office

BOULDER — Advertising firm Crispin Porter + Bogusky has added a second managing director to oversee operations at the company’s Boulder office as the firm continues a major organizational restructuring.

Devin Reiter joins Danielle Whalen, who was named managing director in Boulder last year when the position was first created at each of CP+B’s nine offices. The pair will work in tandem to oversee a Boulder office that is the company’s largest at roughly 300 employees.

The Boulder office warranted a second managing director, company officials said, due to its size and success.

“Each of our nine offices is run by entrepreneurs who have a passion for building CP+B in their markets,” Global CEO Lori Senecal said in a prepared statement. “We have small, tight teams of hands-on doers who are in charge of creating the very best work. So when an office becomes too large for one MD to have meaningful personal impact on each and every client business we need to expand our leadership to deliver this promise.”

CP+B has seen plenty of management changes this year, most recently with the elimination of CEO Andrew Keller’s position earlier this month. President Steve Erich departed in June, with his position also going away. In July, meanwhile, the company made a major addition with the hiring of Eric Zuncic as chief strategy officer.

Senecal was hired in March to lead the firm’s executive team and oversee global growth and expansion.
