Centura, LUH adding ER to Indian Peaks Medical Center in Frederick
FREDERICK — Centura Health and Longmont United Hospital are adding an urgent care/emergency room to their Indian Peaks Medical Clinic in Frederick, according to documents submitted to the town’s planning department.
Details about the addition of services were not available Monday, but Centura spokeswoman Jennifer Wills said that information will be made available Nov. 10.
Preliminary drawings indicate the construction of a driveway and canopy labeled “ambulance” on the west side of the existing building.

The two-story, 36,000-square-foot medical center at 4943 Colorado Highway 52 was built by Longmont United Hospital for $9 million and opened in late 2013.
Earlier this year, Longmont United became affiliated with Englewood-based Centura Health through an agreement that hospital officials told BizWest was not an acquisition by Centura. Rather, they said, it is a long-term relationship in which Centura Health will invest in LUH’s growth and development, including capital for facilities and information technology, to benefit clinical quality and patient care.
In 2014, Centura constructed a 10,800-square-foot neighborhood health and wellness center at 3101 Summit View Drive, in Dacono, about five miles south of Indian Peaks Medical Center.
