Boulder-based online retailer The Cotery raises $766,000

BOULDER – Startup online clothing retailer Cotery Inc. has raised more than $766,000 in new funding, company officials disclosed in a regulatory filing this week.

Co-founder and chief executive Charlotte Genevier declined to say specifically what the new funding would be used for, but said the 20-month-old company has been growing.

The Cotery provides a platform where designers can create clothing designs and pre-sell them online. Once a minimum number of units is sold, The Cotery manufactures the items and fulfills the orders, taking a cut of the sales. Designers own their designs and get to include their own…
