Chicago-based developer proposes townhomes in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS — Chicago-based development and management firm Core Spaces has submitted conceptual plans to build 10 townhomes next to a student-housing complex in Fort Collins that it acquired in April.

Core Spaces’ plans to build the College Avenue Townhomes at 1751 S. College Ave. on an existing surface parking lot. Each of the two-story townhomes would have a roof-top terrace, according to plans submitted to the city’s planning department.

All of the townhomes will have a two-car garage on the ground floor. The property will have an internal drive that separates the two five-townhome buildings and connects to the shopping center to the north as well as South College Avenue.
