40 Under Forty - 2025 Honoree

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would that be?

Don’t focus on fitting in. The qualities that make you unique will become your strengths.

Who do you count as your greatest mentor(s) that have helped you succeed in your personal and professional life?

My parents are my North Star. Retired Chief Judge James Hartmann taught me to seek out meaningful work with good people, both of which I am fortunate to have found at Fischer, Brown, Bartlett, Larsen & Irby. I am grateful to learn from my colleagues each day. I would not be where I am without the unwavering support of my husband and his family.

Where do you see yourself and what will you be doing with your life after 40?

I hope to continue to work with Crossroads Safehouse and to support the critical services they provide in Northern Colorado. I hope to be taking every opportunity to explore the Colorado outdoors. I hope to have a reasonable number of rescue dogs.
