Colorado Springs craft brewer calls it quits
COLORADO SPRINGS — If you’re marking off Colorado breweries like Colorado fourteeners, you will have one less brewery to hit.
Colorado Springs-based FH Beerworks, which has been in operation for the past 10 years, has closed, now the fourth local brewery to close in 2024, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette. Read the full story here.The Boulder-based Brewers Association in a recent survey lamented the 2024 losses eclipsing openings in the year, predicting another tough year in the making for 2025. According to the brewers’ association’s survey, 9,736 craft breweries operated in 2024, a year that saw 335 new brewery openings and 399 closings.
