Fresca Foods plans production ramp-up
LOUISVILLE — Fresca Foods Inc., a Louisville-based natural food manufacturer, plans to expand its production capacity at its 1775 Cherry St. facility.
The firm intends to invest about $150,000 in renovations to accommodate two new production lines at the site, according to a Louisville Economic Development Department memo.
The finishes include “HVAC, electrical, and plumbing utilities that will support production equipment,” the memo said. “The project for these production lines will retain 50 production associates working two shifts, five days per week.”

Fresca, which employes 425 people in Boulder County, has requested an economic development agreement with Louisville that will give the company several building permit and tax rebates that would be capped at a total value of $2,500.
That agreement, which will be considered by city leaders this week, would require that the production expansion project wrap up no later than March 2020.
Fresca representatives could not be reached for comment Monday afternoon.
