Two Boulder companies join cleantech accelerator
BOULDER — Two Boulder companies have been selected to participate in the second round of the Shell GameChange Accelerator Powered by the National Renewable Energy Lab.
The lab brought in five cleantech companies and will help them advance utility grid or electric vehicle charging technologies. The lab in general is a multiyear cleantech accelerator that works to identify and advance the next generation of transformative energy technologies. It partners early-stage companies with experts from NREL to provide startups with access to financial resources, state-of-the-art facilities and technical experts.
Each participating startup will receive as much as $250,000 in funding to aid in development and demonstration of its technology, with the opportunity for future funding, in addition to access to expertise and laboratory capabilities at both NREL and Shell.
