Lafayette accepting applications for Green Business Recognition Program
LAFAYETTE — Lafayette’s Energy Sustainability Advisory Committee and Waste Reduction Advisory Committee are now accepting applications for the city’s ninth annual Green Business Recognition Program.
The program connects business and commercial property owners with tools and resources to save money and support the city’s goals for reduction of waste and greenhouse gas emissions, according to a Lafayette news release. The program is supported by Boulder County’s Partners for a Clean Environment, also known as PACE.
PACE advisors visit each applicant in-person to identify opportunities for improvement.

Green Business awardees are recognized annually by the Lafayette City Council and receive certificates and decals to display at their location. Last year 21 businesses were recognized as part of the program.
