Boom Technology raises $100M for supersonic jet
CENTENNIAL — A Centennial-based aviation startup has completed a $100 million Series B funding round as it attempts to bring a new supersonic passenger jet to market.
The Denver Business Journal reports that Boom Technology Inc. revealed the funding in a Form D filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The company has raised more than $141 million in total.
The funds will be used to develop the company’s Mach-2.2 airliner, dubbed Overture.
