New restaurant to open in Gunbarrel Center

BOULDER — Matthew Jansen will open a new restaurant, Raglin Market, on Dec. 7 at 5378 Gunbarrel Center Court Unit 2 in Boulder.

Jansen, who also operates Mateo at 1837 Pearl St. in Boulder, said the new restaurant will be a  “fresh casual” concept featuring soups, salads and sandwiches that highlight local, seasonal produce. The menu is influenced by Mateo’s Provençal cuisine, and includes highlights such as tuna niçoise salad; steak caesar salad; and a garlic shrimp sandwich.

Ken Amundson retired from his position as managing editor of BizWest in May 2024 but has come back on a limited basis to report business news in Northern Colorado and the Boulder Valley.
