Loveland Walmart may be first ‘reimagined’ store
LOVELAND — Loveland’s Walmart store at 1325 N. Denver Ave. may become the first in the nation to restructure under Walmart’s new “reimagined” concept.
The Reporter-Herald reported the redevelopment concept would take unused property near the store and turn the store and that property into a town center with small local stores, entertainment venues and other commercial uses.
Walmart announced the concept at a real estate conference in Atlanta last month. The local store, one of two Walmarts in Loveland, has been discussing the potential changes with the city, the R-H reported.
