Boulder-based restaurant-app developer raises $1.1 million
BOULDER — Splick-It Inc., a Boulder-based company with a platform that makes branded mobile apps for restaurants to do web-delivery, is raising more than $1 million in venture capital.
The company has raised $1.1 million and plans to raise $2.5 million, according to CEO Rob Taylor.
Splick.it filed a Form D with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 31.
Taylor said the funds would be used to grow the business, including expanding its sales team.
The company was founded in 2008 and has developed a system of mobile apps, online ordering and loyalty offers for more than 1,750 restaurant locations, according to its website.
The company is offering debt and an option to acquire other security in order to raise capital, as per the Form D.
