Lightning Systems raises $5M
LOVELAND — Lightning Systems, the automotive research and manufacturing company which recently changed its name from Lightning Hybrids, raised more than $5 million in capital since last year.
The Loveland-based company filed a Form D with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission under its previous name amending documents filed in July. Lightning has raised $5.1 million since then, offering equity, debt and option-based security. The company did not return a request for comment.
Earlier this month, Lightning announced its rebrand to Lightning Systems and that it would be moving its headquarters to the Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation & Technology in Loveland.
