Noodles fires COO, effective immediately

BROOMFIELD — Noodles & Co. (Nasdaq: NDLS) has fired its chief operating officer after just nine months on the job.

The Denver Business Journal reports that COO Victor Heutz was terminated Tuesday, effective immediately. The termination was reported in a company filing with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. No reason for the termination was disclosed.

Heutz was hired nine months ago to oversee day-to-day operations at the struggling Broomfield-based restaurant chain.
